How to Use

  1. Before using the appliance, make sure that the appliance's outer surface is wiped dry of any moisture or liquid.
  2. Place and use the appliance on a dry, horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface.
  3. Add suitable amounts of water into the Inner Pot (between 'MIN' and 'MAX' fill line of the pot) according to the food item being cooked and the type of food item/s. Holding the Lid Handle, place the Glass Lid onto the Inner Pot securely.
Notice the position of the 'MIN' and 'MAX fill line of the Inner Pot
  4. Holding the Lid Handle, place the Glass Lid onto the Inner Pot securely. It should be noted that every time the Glass Lid is placed onto the Inner Pot, the Steam Vent should be positioned directly opposite the Handel. This is to avoid steam from coming into direct contact with your hands, and also to prevent hot water which condensed from the steam coming out of the Steam Vent to drip onto the Control Knob or Socket. Steam Vent, (wrong position), Steam Vent (correct position)
  5. Turn the Control Knob anti-clockwise to 'OFF! Attach one end of the Power Cable into the Socket. Plug the other end of the Power Cable into the electric mains and switch on. Turn the Control Knob clockwise, depending on the temperature of the item being cooked. The Indicator Light will illuminate, and the heating will commence. (If needed, turning the Control Knob anti-clockwise to 'OFF' will cease heating immediately.)
  6. During the cooking process, DO NOT use metal utensils to avoid damage to the non-stick coating of the Inner Pot. The duration of cooking varies depending on the item and amount of item being cooked. Please check on the progress of cooking intermittently to determine when to cease heating. Once cooking is completed, turn the Control Knob anti-clockwise to 'OFF, switch off the electric mains, unplug the Power Cable from the electric mains, and detach the Power Cable from the appliance.

How to Clean

  1. Once cooking is completed, turn the Control Knob anti-clockwise to 'OFF', switch off the electric mains, unplug the Power Cable from the electric mains, and detach the Power Cable from the appliance.
  2. Remove the food items from the Inner Pot.
  3. Allow sufficient time for the appliance to cool.
  4. DO NOT immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, wash it under the tap, or let any liquid flow into the internal casing of the appliance to prevent electric shock.
  5. Wash the Glass Lid with detergent and rinse under running water. You may use a dishwasher to wash the Glass Lid.
  6. Wash the Inner Pot with detergent and water, and wipe it dry using a dry cloth. DO NOT use abrasive scouring pads or powders.
  7. Wipe the exterior of the appliance using a soft, damp cloth or sponge.
Remove stubborn spots with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent. Once again, DO NOT use abrasive scouring pads or powders.
