Cooking Usage:
- Cooking : Put the ingredients requiring the longest cooking time into the Inner Pot or Grill Plate first. Add water between 50% - 80% height of the pot. Place the Glass Lid onto the pot or plate, with the Steam Vent positioned to the left (if you are right-handed).
- Turn the Control Knob to 'OFF'. Attach the Power Cable, switch on and turn the Control Knob to 'HIGH'. The Indicator Light illuminates, and heating commences. (Turning the Control Knob to 'OFF' ceases heating immediately.)
- As cooking progresses, put food items, including sauces or gravies, into the pot or plate. Monitor the cooking intermittently, stirring the contents periodically, adjusting the Control Knob between 'MID' and 'HIGH'.
- DO NOT use metal utensils to avoid damage to the Inner Pot or Grill Plate.
Cleaning:
- Once cooking is completed, turn the Control Knob to 'OFF', switch off, and detach the Power Cable from the appliance. Let the appliance cool before cleaning.
- Wash the Glass Lid with detergent and rinse under running water. If some food is present in the Inner Pot or Grill Plate, soak in warm soapy water and then wash with a non-abrasive sponge to avoid damaging the non-stick coating. Dry using a soft cloth.
- DO NOT soak the appliance in water or other liquids, wash it under tap, or let any liquid flow into the internal casing of the appliance to prevent electric shock.
- Use fine sandpaper or steel wool and gently smooth the surface of the Heating Plate occasionally.
- Conduct descaling periodically.
