First Use:

• Clean the interior of the Teapot with water & detergent with a non-abrasive sponge.
• Press the Lid Button inwards to lift the Lid. Fill the Teapot with water to MAX.
• Boil the water.
• Discard the water after boiling. Rinse the interior of the Teapot and Lid.

How to Use:

• Fill the Teapot with water between the MIN and Max lines.
• Press the Lid Button inwards to lift the Lid. Close the Lid.
• Wipe the exterior if wet.
• Place the appliance on a dry, horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface.
• Attach the power cable. Switch the appliance ON. Press the ON/OFF Switch down.
• The appliance switches off automatically several seconds after water has started boiling.
• Switch the appliance OFF if you do not wish for re-boiling to occur.
• Warning: DO NOT add water when the water is dry-boiled as the Glass Jug may crack!

How to Clean:

• Switch the appliance OFF and unplug the power cable when not in use and before filling, emptying and cleaning the kettle.
• Wipe the exterior of the appliance using a damp cloth. Remove stubborn spots with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Fill the teapot to its maximum volume using a mixture of one part ordinary vinegar and two parts water. Boil the mixture and leave the mixture overnight. Discard it the next morning.
• Repeat step 4 using water.
• Once cooled, discard the water. Rinse the interior of the teapot and Lid.
